A consultant (from the Latin consultare means "to discuss" from which we also derive words such as consul and counsel) is a professional who provides advice in a particular area of expertise such as management, accountancy, the environment, entertainment, technology, law (tax law, in particular), human resources, marketing, medicine, finance, life management, economics, public affairs, communication, engineering, sound system design, graphic design, or waste management. A consultant is usually an expert or a professional in a specific field and has a wide knowledge of the subject matter. A consultant usually works for a consultancy firm or is self-employed, and engages with multiple and changing clients. Thus, clients have access to deeper levels of expertise than would be feasible for them to retain in-house, and may purchase only as much service from the outside consultant as desired. It is generally accepted good corporate governance to hire consultants as a check to the Principal-Agent problem. 'Consultant' is also the term used to denote the most senior medical position in the United Kingdom, Australia and Ireland (e.g., a consultant surgeon). From Wikipedia under the

Answered by Nusha - Sun Jan 21 01:08:25 2007 Are there any Tupperware consultants out there willing to honor the "lifetime" warranty on their products?
Q. I have quite a bit of it. I used to be a great customer, but now I have most everything. I am needing to replace a few pieces under their warranty. However, most consultants will only order replacement parts if I place an order. I understand that they want to make money too, but what good is the lifetime warranty if I have to buy more to get what I already have replaced? I know how the warranty works-no definition needed, but I've tried calling the 800#, and they have said I have to go through a consultant. Asked by TMOM - Sat Jun 30 04:42:20 2007 - - 3 Answers - 3 Comments A. Full Lifetime Warranty: Tupperware products are guaranteed by Tupperware against chipping, cracking, breaking or peeling under normal non-commercial use for the lifetime of the product. Please call Customer Care toll-free at 1(800) 366-3800 for free replacement. If, due to unavailability, actual product replacement cannot be made, comparable product replacement will be made, or credit toward future purchases of Tupperware products will be given.
