What are the symptoms of mono, and how long before the symptoms start to show?
Q. I either have really bad allergies or something else.. im not sure. But i was just wondering what the symptoms of mono was, and how long can mono be in your system before the symptoms start to show. I share drink cups and eating utensils all the time, but the last time i kissed a guy was the beginning of July or so. Im a 16 year old female by the way.

A. you dont have to kiss someone to get mono. sharing utensils and drinking glasses is enough. mixture of one persons bodily fluids (spit is a great one...hence the whole kissing disease name) with your own is all it takes. the first time i had mono was when i was on a very sad year long no guy and kissing train ride. and i didnt even know anybody with mono at the time. as for symptoms...i didnt have any for the longest time. my doctor was shocked how bad my mono was when my blood work came back...i felt fine for the most part. the only reason i went in was for swollen lymph nodes in my neck. they were the size of eggs. also exhaustion and a sore throat. rashes fevers chills and headaches as well. not all symptoms show up for everyone though… [cont.]

What bug causes the symptoms of shaking, tiredness and the feeling of a weight on your head?
Q. This week in our office we have a bug going around that is giving us all some odd symptoms. We have all felt tired and achy, but there are other weird symptoms that are bothering us! We all feel very panicked and shaky for no reason, we feel like there is a huge weight pressing on our skulls and nauseous, as well as cold. None of us are particularly unwell in terms of a head cold, actual vomiting or diarrhoea but it is annoying. What is it?
Asked by Rebekah T - Mon Oct 27 05:17:37 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. When your body is fighting a bug it sends all of its energy and resources into getting rid of the bug. This means that the rest of your body feels low in energy and and shaky. Make sure you are eating properly and drinking enough water and you will all feel better soon.
